Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy covers the deskr.in marketing website and the hosted Deskr platform provided to coworking space operators ("Operators"). Deskr is owned and operated by Roftr Clouds LLP, registered in India with office at A-44, Renga Complex, HUDCO Colony, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641004. Contact: hello@deskr.in.

2. Information we collect

On the marketing website (deskr.in):

• Demo request details you submit (name, email, phone, company, message)
• Usage analytics via Google Analytics (page views, device, location at city-level, referrer)
• Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function

On the hosted platform:

• Account data of the Operator (admin users, billing contact, tenant settings)
• Member / customer records entered by the Operator — we process this data on the Operator's instructions
• Operational logs (audit trails, access logs, error traces) for security and debugging

3. How we use it

• To deliver, secure, and support the platform
• To respond to your demo request or support ticket
• To invoice the Operator and manage subscriptions
• To improve the product through aggregated, non-identifying usage signals

We do not sell personal data. We do not use member data from one Operator to train shared models or to enrich another Operator's analytics.

4. Legal basis (DPDP / GDPR)

We process personal data under one or more of: (a) your consent, (b) performance of a contract with you or your Operator, (c) our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or (d) compliance with a legal obligation. Where you are a data principal under India's DPDP Act 2023, your Operator is the Data Fiduciary and we act as a Data Processor.

5. Sharing and sub-processors

We share data only with trusted sub-processors who help us run the service:

• Cloud hosting — AWS / Hetzner / DigitalOcean depending on the deployment region
• Email delivery — transactional email provider for notifications and invoices
• Payment gateway — Razorpay / Stripe, when invoicing or collecting card details (we never store raw card numbers)
• Analytics — Google Analytics on the marketing site only; not inside the hosted platform

6. Retention

Demo leads: retained for 24 months unless you ask us to delete them earlier. Operator account data: for the life of the subscription plus 90 days to allow recovery. Financial records: 7 years, as required by Indian accounting law. Server logs: 30–90 days.

7. Your rights

You can request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct or update inaccurate data
• Delete your data (right to erasure, subject to legal retention rules)
• Withdraw consent for analytics or marketing
• Port your data in a structured, machine-readable format

Email hello@deskr.in. If you are a member of an Operator's space, please contact the Operator first — they hold the primary relationship with you.

8. Security

We run encrypted connections (TLS 1.2+), encrypt data at rest on managed databases, restrict admin access with MFA, log every privileged action, and run regular backups. No system is perfect — if we ever have a breach that affects you, we'll notify you without undue delay.

9. International transfers

Data is hosted in the region your Operator selects (India, EU, or US). We do not transfer data outside that region without putting appropriate safeguards in place.

10. Changes

We'll update this page when the policy changes and revise the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to active Operators.
